Louisburg Square
Louisburg Square is a privately-owned green space located on the west slope of Beacon Hill. Measuring 300 by 100 feet, the square is defined by two rows of facing residences separated by two private streets. The buildings adjacent to Louisburg Square are influenced by the Greek Revival style and represent some of the most valuable property in the city. Throughout it's history, famous residents of Louisburg Square include Louisa May Alcott and current US Senator John Kerry.
