The Harrison Gray Otis House on Cambridge Street is the first of three such named buildings built by renowned architect Charles Bulfinch for Harrison Gray Otis. Adjacent to the Old West Church, this three story brick federal-style building is maintained as a nonprofit museum, giving a glimpse into living conditions, family life, and style of Boston's upper class during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The Harrison Gray Otis House is in the US National Register of Historic Places and is also designated a US National Historic Landmark.
